AC Chapter One is a UK television and film production company launched in 2018 by Anonymous Content, Casarotto Ramsay and United Agents. Our passion is for authored work across all genres, broadcasters and platforms. 

Our series include Jack Thorne’s 2023 miniseries BEST INTERESTS (BBC1/Fifth Season) starring Michael Sheen and Sharon Horgan, which has received universal critical acclaim.

And BOY SWALLOWS UNIVERSE, the seven-part limited series adaptation of bestselling author Trent Dalton’s  for Netflix, co-produced with Anonymous Content and Brouhaha, and now streaming on Netflix.

On the film side, we are in production on Nick Payne's feature adaptation of the inspiring, heart-felt cookbook BREADSONG, about a father’s determination to help his young, once care-free teenage daughter overcome her battle with depression through their unexpected journey of baking together. 

AC Chapter One is run by Patrick Spence (MR. BATES vs. THE POST OFFICE, A SPY AMONG FRIENDS, ADULT MATERIAL), alongside executive producers Sophie Gardiner (HOWARDS END, CHIMERICA) and Kat Pugsley (MATERNAL, THE A WORD).
